The 99/1 Flights · Peer advisory
You know your constraint. What you don't want is another project on your desk — or a consultant who leaves and takes the capability with him.
In a Flight, 3–5 companies fly ten weeks together and your own people run the change.
Situation
You've had consultants. Expensive, lots of slides — and it left when they left.
Pain
Do it yourself: on top of your week. Buy it in: you rent someone else's ownership.
Need
Someone who teaches your people to fly — instead of flying it for them.
What it really is
Nobody from us sits in your organisation. Your side runs the change. We work with your people so they can work with theirs.
Three to five companies, hand-picked. Comparable size, no competitors, confidential — the mutual challenge is worth as much as the method.
Weeks instead of months, at a fraction of consulting cost. And the capability stays, because the people who ran it still work for you.
You fly it. We only teach you how. The plane stays with you.
The Flight Path
Scheduled, finite, and it arrives — fixed rhythm, agreed destination, 3–5 of you in formation.

Bottleneck Hunter, Multitasking Meter, EBITDA Calculator — what your point is worth.
Boarding
2 hours · with Founders
Constraint validated, group fixed, champion named. A decision that survives the board.
Flight 1
10 weeks · push throughput
Freeze WIP: multitasking dies. Full kit: no half-finished work at the constraint.
Flight 2
10 weeks · kick reliability
Planning and execution move to buffer management. Incentives point the same way.
Before: Check-in — a live session on a real case. After: Strategy Flight (4 weeks) · Frequent Flyer Club. Private, right now? Exclusive Track.
Who flies — the part people get wrong
You fly — plus one or two key people. The decision maker has a seat, not a monthly update. Bring the ones who will live with the result.
One of them is the champion. Drives it day to day, usually a direct report. You can take the role yourself — then be honest about your free capacity.
Never alone, and never without mandate. Alone it dies on your next holiday. The mandate must be real — including the right to stop things.
Inside the ten weeks
Four steps, every time. Knowledge transfer · challenging workshop · shoulder-to-shoulder · implementation. In the sessions: you and your one or two, never the wider team.
The homework is the change. Between sessions your people work with their people — it isn't preparation for the change, it is the change.
You are never on your own. Email and Teams between sessions, and a digital platform that walks your champion through every action, tool and decision.
What you land
1.5x–5x throughput at the same cost. EBITDA, not a KPI.
Delivery you can promise — usable the same quarter.
One honest signal, one rule: one person holds the ball.
The people who ran it stay on your payroll.
Proof
$80M+ first-year value across 48 companies since 2010 — Bosch, Festo, Endress+Hauser, 1&1, Vivo, Megger.
Beck Automation: on-time delivery to 100% through Covid and Ukraine, EBITDA up 6 points.
Vivo (Telefônica Brazil, ~100M customers): throughput doubled, on-time delivery from 30% to 80%.
Don't board if: the mandate isn't real · the top doesn't agree on the constraint · an ERP cutover or a sale falls inside the ten weeks.
You fly with the founders themselves.
Christian Reckel & Wolfram Müller — founders of 99/1. They run Boarding and every session. No junior team.
